I was curious to see which Sanibel homes our online home shoppers like the most. So... I took to Zillow to see which three Sanibel homes had the most "saves" in the last 30 days. I know, Zillow isn't my favorite, but an astounding number of people use the site every month to search for homes for sale. That's why it's a good site to figure out the wide-spread popularity properties.

For the data, I selected only the single-family homes on Sanibel that were listed within the past 12-months. Here's what I found...

Why Should You Care? 

As a seller - this information helps you understand the competition. Notice the features that make these properties popular with online home buyers. Photos and videos are SO IMPORTANT now, especially since fewer people are traveling due to COVID.  At the end of the webinar, I provide a few other key takeaways for those that are considering selling their home. 

For buyers - you might be wondering how you can "score" one of these amazing properties. As I mentioned in the video, real estate is moving fast on Sanibel right now! Working with an agent that has experience in this local market is so important, especially one that is willing to help you with videos, inspections, etc. if you are not local. Another tip: be sure you have your notifications turned on so that you receive new listings immediately when they hit the market.
